Voice-tracking teleprompter
A teleprompter that waits for you
StudioPrompt follows your voice, not a timer. Slow down to land a point and it waits. Stop to think and nothing moves. You can present by yourself without chasing someone else’s scroll speed.
Works in your browser, or as a desktop app that stays above your slides or your call. The free plan doesn’t expire and we don’t ask for a card.
Follows your voice
It moves when you talk and waits when you don’t. Go off script to answer a question and your line is still there when you come back.
Knows your script
VoiceFollow Pro looks ahead in your script, so names and unusual words don’t throw the scroll off track.
Free, permanently
Basic voice tracking runs in your browser, so it stays free and unlimited. Recording is included, and the saved file has no watermark.
How it works
Paste a script, start talking
Get your script in
Type it, paste it, or drop in a Word file, PDF, RTF or plain text. It lands in your library and shows up on your other devices.
Set it up once
Set the text size, spacing, margins, reading line, mirroring, and colors. Save your setup once and use it every time.
Just talk
It follows along. Stop for a second and it stops with you. Lose your place and click the word you’re on; it carries on from there.
Why voice tracking
Fixed speed prompters make you chase the text
Slow down to land a point and the words get away from you. Speed up and you’re waiting on the screen. You end up reading to the prompter instead of to the camera.
It knows where you are in the whole script
It follows nearby words first, then uses a longer spoken phrase to catch up if you skip to a later section.
Easy to put back on track
Scroll with your hand or click the word you’re on, and it carries on from there.
Manual still works
Give it a run time and it paces itself. Or drive it yourself with the keyboard, a clicker or a foot pedal.
Features
What’s in it
Who it’s for
Reading to a camera, without a crew
Preachers & speakers
Long reads where you can’t be staring at notes. Stop to make a point and it stops with you.
Educators
Record a lesson on your own. Nobody driving the scroll, nothing to rehearse against. Follow the lesson-recording guide.
Podcasters
On a long read, even a good fixed speed drifts. Voice tracking stays with your pace from start to finish.
Sales teams
Outreach and demo videos where you’re looking at the customer, not at notes next to the camera.
Video producers
Clean 1080p with the script at the lens, ready to cut. Nothing to crop out.
Bigger team?
We’ll size the hours to how you actually work, invoice you instead of holding a card, and help get your presenters set up.

Questions
What’s the difference between Basic and VoiceFollow Pro?
Basic uses the speech recognition already in your browser. It’s free, unlimited, and works well for most scripts. VoiceFollow Pro is more accurate because it reads your script first and knows which words to expect.
What counts against my VoiceFollow Pro hours?
Only the time it spends actually listening. Pause and the clock stops. Basic never counts.
What happens if I run out of hours?
VoiceFollow Pro stops until your allowance resets on the first day of the next month. Basic keeps going with no limit, so you won’t get left without a prompter halfway through a read.
Does my audio leave my building?
With VoiceFollow Pro, yes. Your microphone audio goes to Deepgram, our speech-to-text provider, for one purpose: turning speech into text so the prompter can follow your place. We opt every request out of Deepgram’s model-improvement program; the audio is processed only for that request. With Basic, the audio never reaches us or Deepgram at all. It is handled by the speech recognition built into your browser, under your browser vendor’s own privacy policy. The privacy policy has the full detail.
How does it compare to other teleprompters?
We wrote up honest, row-by-row comparisons with Speakflow, Teleprompter.com and ShareSpeak, including the rows where they win. Every claim is dated and checked against their own pages.
Talk. It’ll keep up.
